Learn how to shape a surfboard

Shaping Class

Join me for a one on one shaping class. You choose the design and I guide you through all of the steps it takes to make your very own surfboard! Shaping class lasts from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm on the day of your choice. Lunch and surf check provided!
Classes start at $1000 for boards under 7’6”. $1300 for boards over 7’8”. Your choice of resin color work or airbrush. All boards are glassed by me and will be available for pickup in 2 weeks. Free local delivery within NC, VA and MD. Shipping is also available upon request for additional fee.

Shaping Class With on Site Accommodations

Come surf and stay with us on the beautiful island of Hatteras in the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
On Site Stay:
Includes: 5 night stay in our guest suite located steps away from shaping room. Board shaping class lasting 6 hours with lunch provided for the day. Daily morning surf checks (weather permitting). Two personal bikes for your use. Access to a quiver of long and short boards of all sizes. Fresh vegetables from our garden steps from your door (season permitting). Local knowledge of the best breaks on the OBX. Propane flattop grill. And access to our cat “Brad” and local wildlife that frequents our backyard.
